My name is Robert Schwartz, I have lived in Las Vegas for approximately 13 or 14 years. I have ridden in hundreds of cabs, and have tried all of the major cab companies in Las Vegas. I have had all sorts of trouble with taxi cabs in the city.

Melissa Beverlin
My name is Melissa Beverlin, I have lived in Las Vegas since 1978. I have been using cab service in the city for the past five years. Prior to that I used Paratransit, and once I was able to afford taxi cabs, I was kind of thrilled. I had a lot of problems with Paratransit, one of which was a constant backache. When I started using taxi cabs, their service was rocky at first.

My name is Frank Driscoll. I have lived in Las Vegas for a year now, but visited Las Vegas for many years as a tourist. During one ride in a cab I nearly fell out of the back of the cab, because the back door wasn’t closed properly and I was not strapped in.

My name is Rick Kuhmley, I have been a resident of Las Vegas since 1971. I am legally blind, and transportation is one of the most critical needs for people that are visually impaired. Living on the East side, near Eastern and Owens, it has gotten more and more difficult to get a taxi to come pick me up over the years.

My name is Christina Pollack and I have lived in Las Vegas for three years. In my time living in Sun City Anthem, I had extreme difficulty getting a taxi cab to take me home. I would use the Paratransit service, but it wouldn’t take me all the way home, dropping me off at St. Rose Hospital.

Michael Sells
My name is Michael Sells and I have lived in Las Vegas for 30 years. I primarily use taxi cabs when coming home from the airport, which is a few times a year. I find their service challenging at best. Even though there is a large volume of taxis at the airport, it is still difficult to get a wheelchair accessible taxi.
